How to Get Your ElevenLabs API Key

To use Memory Mate's voice features, you'll need an API key from ElevenLabs. Here's how to get one:

  1. Create an ElevenLabs Account

    Visit elevenlabs.io and sign up for a free account.

  2. Access Your API Key

    Once logged in:

    • Click on your profile button in the bottom left corner
    • Select "API Key" from the dropdown menu

    • Give the API key a name or leave it to the default

    • Copy the API key
      • Profile button

  3. Add Your API Key to Memory Mate

    Return to your dashboard and paste your API key in the ElevenLabs API Key section.

Important Notes:

  • The free tier includes 10,000 characters per month
  • Your API key is stored securely and encrypted
  • You can delete your API key from Memory Mate at any time
  • Never share your API key with others
